ARIA sets up 'Winter Wonderland' with 15-foot-tall sugar palace

ARIA on the Las Vegas Strip is preparing for a very sweet winter season. The casino-resort has created its "Winter Wonderland" lobby display, made of edible ingredients and standing 15-feet-tall. A team of pastry chefs spent more than four weeks on crafting the "Sugar Palace," with 4,000 pounds of sugar used to create pressed sugar bricks, snowflakes coated in crystal sugar, blown-sugar swans and much more, according to the resort.

Donny Osmond will be returning to Las Vegas with his first-ever multi-year solo residency at Harrah's on the Strip. Osmond and Caesars Entertainment announced Friday that the entertainer will headline "Donny in Vegas," with shows starting in August next year. "Las Vegas has been great to me and my family and in many ways, so this feels like a homecoming," Osmond said in a press release.
